Atlantic Window Repair has been fixing windows and doors across South Florida since 2020. We are a licensed and insured repair company based in Boca Raton, and our own technicians handle every job from the first measurement to the last piece of trim.

Most calls start with something small. A pane that cracked. A slider that takes two hands to open. A window that fogged over and will not clear. In a lot of those cases the frame is perfectly fine and only the glass, the seal or the hardware needs work, so the repair costs a fraction of a new unit. Which one you are looking at is something we tell you after we see it, not before.

Start With the Symptom 

Windows and Glass

Haze trapped between two panes is a failed seal, and that is foggy window repair. A broken sheet in an older aluminum window calls for single pane glass replacement, while a sealed unit in a newer window means double pane replacement. Storm-rated glass that cracked goes through hurricane impact glass replacement. Scratches and hard water etching often come out with glass polishing rather than new glass. When the frame itself is finished, new window installation is the honest answer.

Doors and Entrances 

Aluminum entrances with closers, pivots and worn thresholds fall under storefront door repair, and the panels around them under commercial glass repair. A door that slides into the wall instead of swinging is a pocket door job. After a break-in or a storm, emergency board-up closes the opening on the first visit and the glass follows once it is cut.

Condos and Managed Properties

Single units and building-wide programs both run through condo window repair. Ongoing work across a portfolio is scheduled through our property management side. Screened enclosures are handled as pool screen replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Window questions

Can windows be repaired instead of replaced?

Most of them can. If the frame is straight and solid, the glass, the seal and the hardware are all replaceable parts. Full replacement earns its cost when the frame is warped, corroded or rotted through, and that only becomes clear once someone looks at it.

Does the whole window have to come out to fix a broken pane?

No, it does not. New glass is cut to the same size and set into the frame that is already in your wall. The frame stays, the opening stays, and nothing gets torn out of the stucco.

Can you cut glass for arched or odd-shaped windows?

Arches, half-rounds and one-off shapes get templated on-site so the new glass matches the opening exactly. Our woodworking shop mills wood frames and trim to match as well, which is what makes older and custom windows workable at all.

Do you handle double-pane glass that has fogged up?

Constantly, and it is one of the most common calls we get. The haze means the seal between the panes has failed. Depending on how far it has gone, the fix is either a defogging job or a new sealed unit set into your existing frame.

Will you board up a broken window before the new glass is ready?

Yes, we will. The opening gets closed on the first visit so the house stays dry and secure, and we come back to set the glass as soon as it has been cut.

Can you quote a price over the phone?

Not accurately, no. Cost rides on the glass type, the size, whether the frame is sound and how the unit was built, and none of that reads over a phone line. The in-home estimate is free, and the number comes before any work starts.

Door questions

Can a sliding door that will not roll be fixed?

Almost always. Nine times out of ten the rollers are worn flat and the track is packed with grit or dented. New rollers go in, the track gets cleaned or capped, and the door is reset until it moves with one hand again.

Is glass in patio and French doors replaceable on its own?

The glass comes out on its own and the door stays. It is tempered for safety, so it gets cut to match the panel rather than pulled off a shelf, and the frame is never disturbed.

Are storefront and commercial doors part of what you handle?

They are. Pivots, closers, thresholds and locks on aluminum entrances are routine work for us, along with the glass panels themselves. Anything that blocks an entrance gets scheduled around your business hours.

Does fixing the glass cost less than replacing the whole door?

In most cases, yes. The frame, the hardware and the labor to hang a new door are what drive the price, and none of that comes into play when the glass is the only problem. A door that is bent, out of square or rotted is a different conversation.

Do you install new doors as well as repair them?

We do both. Entry, interior and storefront doors all get installed, and pocket doors go in where the wall allows it. Repair comes first whenever the existing door is still sound.
